Hello and welcome to the website of The South Yorkshire Transport Trust, Sheffield.

We have recently moved into our new premises occupying Bays C and D of the Historic Old Tinsley Tramsheds in Sheffield which was once right in the middle of Sheffield's industrial area. Today it sits next to the Busy Meadowhall Shopping centre which was built on land formily occupied by the Steel Works.

We are currently spending our time reorganising the vehicles and many associated spares we have collected along the way. This work, along with tidying the tramsheds up is coming on well. Work should be able to commence on the vehicles in the coming months. SYTT will remain closed to the public over the Winter period to allow us to complete these works. However it is hoped in the not so distant future to be able to annouce the date of our first special open day.
